The Sparkle Effect.

Blog.
bläg/
noun
  1. a personal website or web page on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis.

I decided to create this blog because of Zoe Sugg, as mentioned in my first post. However, I wanted to share how I came up with the name “The Sparkle Effect.”

At first, I was using name generators to try and come up with a quirky, yet cool blog name, but I was not having any such luck. I knew I wanted the word ‘sparkle’ to be in it in some way, for what reason I don’t know. I came up with different things such as sparkella, or More-sparkles, but of course they were kind of weird. And I know its what they say in books or movies, but it was like a light bulb went off in my head- The Sparkle Effect. I rushed to make sure the name wasn't already taken, because blog names are like twitter usernames, once they are in use nobody else can have them. It wasn't (obviously), and I created my first blog post.

That night when I was trying to get off of twitter and go to bed, my mind started to wonder if there was a deeper meaning to why I chose the name. And the more I thought about it, I realized like in my first post, that I want to inspire somebody, and let them sparkle. It’s cheesy, I know, but I want to affect at least one person, and show them that they are beautiful, or that they aren't going through anything by themselves. I want to be a person that can be there when someone needs me, and talk to whoever wants to talk. I want them to have a sparkle in their eye, and be happy, because everyone deserves that.

The Sparkle Effect isn't something I can do alone though. If this blog does get to more people, and more are seeing it and commenting and things like that, I want everyone to try and put a smile on somebody’s face every once in a while. Everyone deserves to be happy, and treated right, so follow the golden rule- do unto others as you would want them to do unto you… or something like that. But I just wanted to post this little tidbit as a reminder to whoever sees this, I am here for you, I am one comment away. Others are there for you, you aren't alone. I am going to try my best to respond to all comments, and to inspire you guys to do your best, while I try and do mine.

This blog isn't meant for product reviews, even though I may do some in the future, but more as to help people, and give my opinion on things such as inspirations, aspirations, and things like that. On the contrary, I may start putting some beauty related posts on here, but that will be in the future, and very seldom. I can’t stress it enough, but I created this to try and help people, even if it may only be one.

That’s all I have to say about The Sparkle Effect for now, and sorry if it doesn't make that much sense, or if I am repeating myself a lot. I already love whoever has viewed my blog, and I hope that you all realize that if you need somebody I am one click away.

Keep Calm and Sparkle On.
